Before any exchange, TBot2 checks whether your village has enough total resources but the wrong distribution. If you need 5000 iron for an upgrade but have 8000 wood sitting idle, TBot2 recognizes this is a perfect case for NPC exchange rather than waiting for production to catch up.
Smart Exchange Calculation
TBot2 calculates the optimal resource redistribution to meet your current needs. It doesn't blindly equalize all four resources — it targets the specific distribution needed for your next upgrade or construction task, minimizing waste and maximizing the value of each 3-gold exchange.
Frequency Guardrails
NPC exchange costs gold every time. TBot2 includes configurable cooldowns between exchanges to prevent burning through your gold reserves. You set the rules — how often exchanges can happen, minimum resource thresholds, and maximum gold spend per cycle.
Queue Integration
NPC exchange works with the rest of TBot2's helper workflows. When a building upgrade is blocked by a resource imbalance, TBot2 can queue the exchange step and continue the upgrade flow once resources are ready.
Gold Safety
Every exchange is gated by gold availability checks. TBot2 verifies you have enough gold before attempting any trade, and it respects your configured gold reserve so you never accidentally spend gold earmarked for other purposes like instant completions or Plus account renewal.
